Enhanced braking is a new feature for the New Tiger 900 range. Helping to balance front and rear braking balance perfectly, and working in harmony with the ABS system, harder braking is more stable while stopping distances are significantly reduced.
technology
The New Tiger 900 leads the way with a technology package like no other motorcycle in the middleweight adventure category — and many of the key features come as standard across the three-bike New Tiger 900 range.
Optimised cornering ABS and Traction Control bring added rider confidence and safety. Among other variables, an Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) constantly monitors lean angle, brake pressure and wheel speed to deliver optimum grip and performance on both deceleration and acceleration. These settings can be altered in the four core riding modes, Road, Rain, Sport, and Off-Road. The Pro models also gets a Rider Programmable mode to allow fine tuning to suit the rider’s preferences and style, while the Rally Pro also has an additional Off-Road Pro mode for extreme off-road riding.
The Triumph connectivity system is also now standard fit on all New Tiger 900 models. Music, phone, and turn-by-turn navigation can be accessed via the intuitive and easy-to-read 7” TFT display.
The GT Pro and Rally Pro also benefit from the Triumph Shift Assist system. This allows clutch-less gear changes both up and down the gearbox for near-seamless acceleration and super-smooth deceleration and stable corner entry.
Heated grips and seats plus a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) are also standard fit on both Pro models.
