Triumph Factory Racing's Austin Forkner has stormed to 10th place at round 10 of the 2025 AMA Supercross Championship, held in Birmingham, Alabama. Ideal conditions delivered a fast, challenging track, perfect for the Triple Crown’s intense three-race format.

Forkner, racing the TF 250-X, placed 11th in timed qualification but was dealt some cruel luck on lap one of the first main event. Caught in a multi-rider crash, he was forced to claw his way forward from the back of the pack. He ultimately claimed 11th place when the chequered flag flew, but it was quite clear that he was capable of so much more.

The second race was an uneventful affair but one that featured marked progress for Forkner, who was able to push forward from 12th to eighth by the end. A ninth-place result in the last race secured Austin 10th in the overall classification and helped him advance from 12th to 11th in the championship standings.

A return to the West Coast beckons now, as AMA Supercross heads to Seattle, Washington, for round 11 and another round of 250SX West competition.

Austin Forkner

"There is something positive to take from tonight! I feel like I have shown some potential at each round, but I just need to put all of that together. I was caught in that pile-up on lap one of the first race – even though I started around fifth – and that was a bummer. I was stuck behind a crash in the final race too. It is frustrating, but I can see the potential. I just need to figure out a way to show what I am capable of."
